UNILAG May Conduct Post-Utme Exams for 2017/18 Admissions
Reliable sources have revealed that the University of Lagos (UNILAG), may conduct screening exams for the 2017/2018 admission process. Â If this is going to happen, the college will conduct a computer-based test for candidates that chose It as the first choice in the recent JAMB exams.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) cancelled post-utme exams last year; This led to tertiary institutions in Nigeria not holding post-utme screening exams as it used to be. It seems UNILAG is not convenient with this method.
There is also news that instead of the previous way of grading candidates which included the UTME score + O’level result; the POST-UTME exam score will be included. So the grading for this year might look like this;
UTME score+O’level aggregates+Post-Utme score.
The problem now is, UNILAG may not make this public to candidates on time. They could announce it when it’s few weeks to the exam.

For your information, JAMB says it will release the cut off marks for 2017/2018 Admissions on August 21. Once it is released, UNILAG will start selling its screening form. Good pm.Pls, concerning the post utme exam is the question going to be the same for all courses. Also i didn’t write maths in my utme and i don’t know whether it’ll come out during the post utme. Thanks.
All candidates will be writing the same subjects of Mathematics, English and General Papers but the questions might be different.
