Unilag introduces dress code for students on campus
The Management of the University of Lagos has made compulsory a dress code for students on campus. This was made know in a circular posted in the school.
All mini skirts, transparent clothing, tight trousers, spaghetti tops, T-shirts with profane or subliminal messages have been banned from the college.
It was also stated that clothes such as Knickers, gown, skirts that do not at least touch the knee is inappropriate and will not be allowed in the school premises.
To ensure that the law is observed, lecturers and administrator of the school have been empowered to correct or send any student not dressed properly out of lectures.
The school has also mandated that students must wear an academic gown on a black or grey suit during matriculation.
