LASU Post UTME Screening Form [2022/2023]

The Lagos State University, LASU Post UTME form for candidates who chose LASU as their first choice in the JAMB UTME registration is now on sale.

The LASU Post UTME screening is compulsory for candidates that want to gain admission into the institution. The screening exercise will be done online, no Post UTME exams will be conducted.

LASU Post UTME Form Screening Requirements

Before you proceed to buy the LASU screening form, you need to meet the following requirements;

First choice

You must have chosen Lagos State University (LASU) in the 2022/2023 JAMB examination as the first choice institution.

Lagos State University no longer accepts second-choice candidates.

If you did not choose LASU as your first choice, you must purchase the JAMB UTME change of institution form.

Cut-Off Mark

Only candidates who scored a minimum of 185 in the JAMB UTME exam and meet other requirements are eligible to purchase the LASU Post UTME form.

Note that having a JAMB UTME score of 185 or above does not guarantee your admission into the University.

Correct Subject Combination

Candidates must have at least a credit in five relevant O’level subjects. English is compulsory for all courses at Lagos State University (Mathematics is not compulsory for some courses).

Apart from the O’level subjects, candidates must also have the correct JAMB UTME subject combination.

Age Limit

Interested applicants for the LASU Post UTME screening form must be at least 16 years old by October 1st, 2022.

Lagos state University moved this date from October 31st to October 1st.

LASU IIVE

Candidates who originate from Lagos State and meet other requirements must apply for the Lagos State University Indigeneship verification exercise to boost their chances of getting admission into the University. 

However, candidates who do not originate from Lagos State can purchase the LASU Post UTME screening form without doing the LASU indigeneship verification.

Please note: Microbiology is not available for the 2022/2023 undergraduate admission. If you chose Microbiology in the JAMB UTME registration, you have to change your course to another course.

Before you go ahead with the registration, you have to decide if you will be applying for Stream 1 or Stream 2.

How to Apply for the LASU Post UTME Screening Form

In this part of the article, we will show you how to apply for the Lagos State University Post-UTME form yourself online.

Follow the instructions below to apply for the LASU Post UME screening form online.

Step 1: Proceed to the LASU Screening Portal

Visit the Lagos State University Screening portal to commence the registration online. You can do the registration on your smartphone or computer.

Step 2: Select the Stream you are Applying for

As we said earlier, LASU has two different streams. In this step, you must select one of the two different streams.

Stream 1 is on the blue background while stream 2 is on the green background.

Step 3: Log in with your JAMB UTME number

On the next page, you need to click the appropriate links to be directed to a page where you can enter your JAMB details.

If you are applying for stream 1, click on the “start screening registration and view paid pins” link. See the image below.

If you are applying for stream 2, click on “UTME candidate – login”. See the image below.

When you click on the appropriate link, you will be taken to a page where you need to enter your JAMB UTME number.

Enter your JAMB registration number and your surname as your password.

Step 4: Fill in your details

Once you are logged in, click on the make payment button to pay for the LASU Post UTME screening form.

Enter your JAMB registration number and select miscellaneous payments from the option.

Under description, select “admission screening other states”. Select Ojo (Main) under campus. For the category section, click on “student”.

Click on continue to proceed to the next stage.

Fill in your name, email address and phone number on the next page. Please enter a valid email address only.

Select the visible price in the amount option and click on next.

The price for Stream 1 is 5,000 Naira while stream 2 is 15,000 Naira.

Step 5: Make Payment

Preview the information in this section. Make sure the details are correct. Make sure to copy your transaction ID as you will need it later on.

Accept the terms and conditions and click “Pay on Paytech”.

Enter your card details to complete the payment.

Step 6: Start Screening

After you have successfully paid for the LASU Post UTME screening form, you need to go back to the application portal to continue the registration.

You can use the links below to log in directly to the portal.

LASU Stream 1 login.

LASU Stream 2 login.

Once you are logged in, click on start screening.

Select screening type.

If you are applying for stream 1, select “Regular” while for stream 2, select “Regular with Entrepreneurship”

Paste your transaction ID in the appropriate space and click on proceed.

Step 7: Complete the Registration

Complete the registration form on the LASU Post UTME portal by filling the empty fields and uploading the required documents.

All uploaded files must be in PDF format and not more than 30KB.

Step 8: Print Completed forms

Once you are done with step 7, print the form out.

Your screening score will appear on the completed form.
