LASU gets a new Registrar and Bursar

The governing council of the Lagos State University has made two new appointments during its 118th Statutory meeting on Thursday, 28th June 2018. The council considered the reports of the joint selection board on the appointment of a Registrar and Bursar.

During the meeting, the Governing Council approved Mr. Mohammed Amuni as the new registrar while it appointed Mr. Said Babatunde as the new Bursar for the institution.

Before their appointments, Mr. Mohammed Amuni was the Deputy Registrar for the Academic Staff Establishment and Mr. Said Babatunde was the Director, Internal Audit.

The appointments of the new principal officers commence with immediate effect.

According to reports, Mr. Amuni takes over from Akinwunmi Lewis, while Mr. Olayinka takes over from the previous bursar, Mr. Adetayo Hassan.
