The Lagos State University Indigene verification exercise for 2018/2019 academic session is ongoing. Candidates who hail from Lagos State, chose LASU as the first choice and scored from 190 and above in the just concluded JAMB UTME exams should apply.

Why you should register for the Lagos State University Indigene Verification
When you register and get verified, you are entitled to various perks from the Lagos State Government.
Student Scholarships
Scholarships may be awarded to qualified students in the University. There are certain criteria’s to get the scholarship.
Bursary Payments
The Lagos State Government does not disappoint in Bursary payments. Every year, the Lagos State Government pays students from Lagos state their bursary allowances. Lagos is a rich state, it is one of the states in Nigeria that still makes such payment.
Reduction in School Fees
Indigenes of Lagos State that school in a Lagos state-owned tertiary institution may get a fee reduction. This is a common practice amongst other states in Nigeria. Here are a few reasons why State Indigenes pay lesser school fees.
Apart from the highlighted points above, there are various other reasons to register for the Lagos State University indigene verification.
Registration Process
Please note that only candidates that originate from Lagos State, Chose Lagos State University as their First choice and scored a minimum of 190 in JAMB UTME exam are eligible to apply.
Also, note that the Indigeneship verification does not guarantee that candidates will be offered admission in Lagos State University.
- Visit the IIVE portal.
- Fill out the form.
- Make a payment of 5000 Niara at lasu.edu.ng/epayment/.
- Print out the completed form from here. Enter your JAMB registration number to print the form.
Please note that the 5000 Naira payment is not refundable.
The Sales of the form will commence on Monday, 9th July 2018 and close on Wednesday, 25th July 2018.
After payment, candidates should proceed to the interview venue with the print out of the completed form.

Time: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Epe Division
Venue: School of Transport.
Time: 8:00am – 4:00pm
The interview will commence on Wednesday, 11th of July 2018.

please am trying to visit the portal to fill the form then pay to print out but it’s saying the portal is closed officially by the midnight of Sunday 24th 2017
Please how can I begin the registration to fill the form or should I just go to Lasu then the overall registration will be done there?
