JAMB Sets 160 As Cut-Off Mark for 2019/2020 Admission

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has set 160 as the official cut-off mark for candidates seeking admission into public universities in the country.

This announcement was made on Tuesday during the 19th policy meeting held at Bola Babalakin auditorium, Gbongan, Osun state.

JAMB also set the benchmark for admission into private universities as 140, 120 for public polytechnics while 110 was approved for private polytechnics.

Colleges of Education cut-off mark was fixed at 100.

During the meeting, JAMB registrar, Mr. Ishaq Oloyede said admission into all higher institutions in the country would be conducted via the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) like the previous year.

The Board fixed December 19, 2019, as the deadline for admission into Public institutions while February 15, 2020, was set for private institutions.
